The Ambassador's house located within the walls of the Dutch fort is truly a house of great majesty and beauty. The Ambassador's house was the home of the representative of Bangladesh until recently taken over and restored by its present owners. The renovations saw the opening of ancient archways and the general architecture of the Dutch period with high ceilings, decorated columns, alcoves and gardens set tastefully throughout the house.
